Move To New Rented-Home

Hey, I move to Klang!

Last Wednesday, I got my school placement's letter and guess what, my new school is in Klang, Selangor. Only 60 minutes from my mother's home. I'm officially a teacher at secondary school in Klang. So, I will stay a very long time in there. My friends and I keep searching a new rent home, after three days, we found a perfect terraced house with an affordable rent. It fully furnished with television, washing machines, furniture, beds, wardrobes, fridge, dining table, and sofa. 

Welcome to our home!

Hopefully at new school, I get more inspirations to compose arts. Starting my new life at new place. Ready, set hut! hut! hut! :D

Kota Tinggi Fireflies River Cruise - A Boat Ride to See Thousands of Fireflies

From my last travel in May 11-13, 2012. I visited Kota Tinggi Firefly River Cruise at Kota Tinggi, Johor. It located at Jalan Tepi Sungai, Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia (near Hotel Seri Kota). It takes only 10 minutes to Firefly River Cruise from Kota Tinggi town. 

It costs RM18 (person) to enter.

I remember when I was little, to watch a firefly was amazing thing. Now, 15 years later,  to see a thousands of fireflies is something precious and I was really excited. After paid M18, we were given a safety jacket and get in a boat ride, a long boat.

We were taking a boat ride and watching nature's Christmas trees. A thousand of fireflies brightens trees and one of tourists on the boat compares with a Christmas tree. This park is recommended to visit if you come to Kota Tinggi Johor.

Tips to visit Kota Tinggi Fireflies River Cruise :

1. Visit when the moonlight is weak.
2. The fireflies seem to be more active, if you are visiting after the rain.
3. Camera flash is not allowed in there.

Kota Tinggi Travel #3 - Ostrich Farm Teluk Ramunia

Ostrich Farm, Teluk Ramunia.

During my last travel at Kota Tinggi Johor, me and three of my girlfriends visited Ostrich Farm at Teluk Ramunia, near at Kampung Sungai Rengit. 

Teluk Ramunia is located in the southeastern part of Johor, Malaysia. It is located about 47 km from the nearest town, Bandar Penawar, Kota Tinggi Johor.

This is my first time visiting Ostrich farm, I only watched ostriches in television before. So I was little more excited when my girlfriends put ostrich farm in our place must visit. After went to Desaru Beach at Bandar Penawar, Kota Tinggi, we headed to Ostrich Farm, which only 40 minutes from Desaru Beach. 

My first imagination when my friend mentioned about visiting an ostrich farm was, could I ride it. :-p It costs RM15 (person) to enter ostrich farm.

At the ostrich farm, we were briefed about ostriches. They showed how to break an ostrich egg. It not very easy like chicken eggs. Because ostrich eggs are very hard, it hardly to break, even if it falls on floor.

See, huge. I think it needs 4 men to eat an egg.

My friend gave her kiss. Lol.

They also sale the ostrich's satay, burger, ostrich egg omelette, bakuteh and Teppanyaki.We only purchased ostrich satay. Previously, we ate Belangkas and siput gong-gong at Kota Tinggi, so our stomach couldn't take anymore. Haha.

Ostrich souvenirs also available in their store. They sale variation of ostrich eggs, keychains, decorations etc. Look at picture below, they also sale this.

Overall, it was a great destination to visit. We have a great time in there. Their services are good, lot of big ostriches in there and it was tired day to take all pictures. Because all the ostriches are so active. Haha. Recommended to you to visit if you come to Kota Tinggi.
